Emotions
Emotions run high as we speak,
the future is bright but the present is bleak,
where is the light when it is dark?
we fake our toughness as hollow as bark,
one wrong word and it could come crashing down,
or riddled with holes and in our emotions we drown,
we must rise above and raise our heads high,
because emotions run deep we just have to resist the tide,
